This week, your assignment is to design a storyboard for your animation. This storyboard is a plan for what you want to happen in the animation we are going to start building next week. It needs to feature your character that you designed 2 weeks ago, but whatever happens to your character is up to you. As I said in class, if you are having trouble coming up with an idea, start with where your character would be, and what they might be doing in that location. The story will often be pretty easy after that. Make it something rather simple, maybe a bit funny or surprising, and something that won’t take more than about 45 seconds. And one last thing – remember to divide your sketchbook paper into 2 columns, with four drawing tall (just like the first two examples below). You’ll need a minimum of 12 blocks.
