So, this week you will need to do a simple storyboard for your sketchbook project. This sketchbook will be due on THURSDAY (mostly because of career day). This storyboard will serve as a plan for the animation project that we are about to start. Keep in mind the following requirements and considerations:
- Keep the story short and simple. Your storyboard should be 8-12 frames total. Any longer than that and you most likely will not be able to finish your animation project
- Simple drawing are good, but make sure you include the right amount of detail. Each frame should be simple, but it needs to explain to the viewer what is happening in the story. That includes environment, weather, whatever tells us where and when your character is!
- You need to be using the character that you designed last week.
- You must include a walk or run cycle (your choice) in this animation, so storyboard it!
Below are some examples of storyboards. Use these, as well as our class discussion today, as a springboard for your own idea.
